Congregational Bible Church will be hosting a women’s conference at the church on October 29th from 9:00am - 2:00pm. Admission is free and lunch will be provided (a freewill offering will be taken during the conference). This conference is open to all women. Janet Ables will be our guest speaker.  The topic of the conference is BRAVE: Believing God, Being Brave, and Claiming the Promised Land. The last day to RSVP is Friday, October 21st.

Janet Ables has been teaching and leading women for over 20 years and is passionate about helping them identify and walk out their purpose and calling. In 2015, she joined the staff of a mission organization, Global Sharing, where she is pioneering an international women’s ministry called Esther Movement. Prior to her ministry with Esther Movement, Janet served as a Women’s Ministry Director, a Conference Speaker, and Author and Bible Teacher. Janet and her husband, Jay, are enjoying their partially empty nest and love the rare occasion when all of their kids – Ashley (23), Austin (21), and Addison (18) – are all at the dinner table at the same time.

TOPIC

Every once in a while we find ourselves in need of an extra dose of strength and courage to face what lies before us. Whether the obstacles in our lives are relational, financial, physical or spiritual, we could all use a little more bravery as we embrace what God wants to do in us and through us. Using Joshua’s story as our backdrop, we will explore what it means to answer God’s call to strength and courage. Here is to believing God, being brave and claiming the victory!
